ASSISTANT FARM MANAGER

INVERPOLLY, NEAR ULLAPOOL

We are seeking a key individual to assist with the management and development of our farming operations at Finfish which currently produce in excess of 2 million smolts per year.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ practical experience in fish farming including management experience. Leadership combined with strong inter-personal skills, computer and planning skills are just some of the attributes required for this post. A full, clean driving licence is also essential.

Beyond the nature of the role, the post holder would be expected to undertake over-time as required in order to accommodate the business needs of the farm and, for the same reason, will be required to work weekend / 24 hour alarm cover on a rotational basis. Assistance with accommodation may be available.

In return the successful candidate will benefit from an attractive salary package, in the range £24K- £26K, based on experience, together with a bonus package for results achieved against set targets up to a maximum of 15% of salary.
