ENVIRONMENTAL TEAM MANAGER

14 May, 2009 - Marine Harvest (Scotland) is the largest Aquaculture Company operating in Scotland.

Our marine and freshwater sites are located throughout the West Coast and Outer Isles.

We are seeking an Environmental Manager who will take a leading role in managing our company compliance commitments and strategic development plans. The role will play an important part in the sustainable and profi table development of our production base.

The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level in Environmental Science, Marine Biology or another related discipline.

In addition 2 years experience in an environmental role or a postgraduate qualifi cation is desirable. Candidates should possess working knowledge of EIA process & environmental modelling, whilst an understanding of planning and environmental policy relating to sustainable development would be a distinct advantage. The incumbent will also possess excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, along with competence in basic statistics and exceptional literacy skills. A driving license is also essential.

In return, Marine Harvest offers a highly competitive salary and a generous relocation package should it be required.
