Farm Technicians 16 July, 2009 - Salary - £15,508 - £19,675 per annum plus overtime We currently have vacancies for two Farm Technicians to work between our Freshwater sites within the Lochaber Area. These posts are offered on a full-time, 6 month temporary contract but could lead to permanent employment. The role of Technician is interesting and varied, working outdoors, it is focused upon all aspects of successful salmon smolt production, from the post hatchery fry stage until transportation to our seawater farms. Applications would be particularly welcome from individuals who have some experience in fish farming but this is not essential as full training and support will be provided. Both positions will require working a minimum 40 hour week on any five out of seven days.
