Marine Site Manager, Loch Eriboll

13 August, 2009 - Scottish Sea Farms wish to recruit a proven and exceptionally skilled salmon farm manager to develop and strengthen our new marine production site situated by Durness in Sutherland.
Loch Eriboll is a unique and challenging marine environment with exceptional potential and sensitivity. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in all aspects of fish husbandry including fish health and welfare, feeding optimisation, containment, infrastructure maintenance and skilled seamanship. If successful you will be hardworking, focused on achieving your own key performance indicators and developing the potential within your staff.

To be considered you must already be a leading site manager in the aquaculture industry with more than 3 years experience. You will have excellently developed risk assessment skills and be able to demonstrate your commitment in developing a strong safety culture. You will be open, honest and communicate with ease at all levels. Your ability to plan ahead will be matched by close attention to detail.

Scottish Sea Farms Ltd site managers are already expected to be industry leading - with competence in finance, budget control and planning, stock management, stakeholder interactions, personnel management and promotion of health and safety. Throughout your career we will commit to support your development through training and close mentoring.
