Marine Harvest statement

IN CONNECTION with the presentation of its Q1 2010 results, Marine Harvest released a statement saying it guided a total harvest volume of 68,000 tonnes of “head on gutted equivalents” for Q2 2010. The figures include salmonid species only.

The breakdown was: Norway 48,000 tonnes; Chile 2,000 tonnes; Canada 7,000 tonnes; Scotland 7,000 tonnes; others 4,000 tonnes

Operational EBIT for the group was approximately NOK 790 million (£83 million) in Q2 2010. Operational EBIT per kg for Marine Harvest Norway was approximately NOK 11 (£1.15) in the quarter. Marine Harvest will release its Q2 2010 results on 21 July.
