Marine Engineer
You will be a time served mechanic with at least 5 years experience, be multi-skilled, conscientious, innovative and hard working. The role will involve the routine servicing of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, feeding and net cleaning equipment etc. Small craft experience and the ability to undertake minor fabrication and basic electrical work would be an asset. A strong safety focus is essential. This position is salaried with free occupational health support provided.
Workshop Assistant/Yardman
Based at our engineering department at Barcaldine, you will have some mechanical experience and hold a current fork truck license. Duties will include: assisting engineers, loading /unloading trucks and boats, keeping and organising stock, tools and equipment and maintaining a neat and tidy workshop.
This position is salaried with free occupational health support provided.
Trainee Farmer (Fishnish, Mull)
No previous experience required but you must set high standards, be hardworking, practical and willing to acquire new skills. Salary: £6.73p/h after satisfactory 6 month review.
Marine Farmer (Fishnish, Mull)
You'll have at least 3 years “Hands On” aquaculture experience and be able to bring proven skills in boat handling, stockmanship and equipment care. You may wish to change species or start afresh in a new location. Above all you will set high standards, want to progress to a management position and willing to improve your career through taking initiative and applying training. This position is salaried with additional weekend payment, bonus scheme and free occupational health support. Relocation support may be considered.
