Meridian job vaccancies

Lakeland Group and Northern Isles Salmon joined forces to become the Meridian

We are seeking the following staff for our sites in Loch Craignish and Loch Melfort, Argyll:

Boatman
To skipper a small workboat and carry out general fish farming and husbandry related tasks i.e. feeding, net cleaning, moorings and cage maintenance etc. You must be qualified to at least Level 2 Powerboat although a Boatmaster’s certificate would be an advantage. You must be flexible, have good communication skills and the ability to work within a small team.

Husbandry Worker
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated employee to work on our sea sites to assist with feeding, grading and general fish husbandry duties. Previous fish farming experience would be an advantage. Due to the remote location of some of our sites, a driving licence is essential.

Weekend Staff
Staff required for our weekend rota to assist full-time staff on our cage sites.
